My name is Gitte Bjergskov Kjaerulff.
Vintage 1957, the year of Sputnik and not much else. Now living my senior, inconspicuous life in Denmark alone with my grown-up son. I work with general insurance for a living. What can I say ? It pays the rent.
My love for Paris goes way back to my first trip in August 1973 with my Father. I was 15 years old, and it was my first trip abroad, not to mention my first airplane encounter ! Being an inexperienced country girl, I was of course overwhelmed by the splendour and breathtaking beauty of Paris: spectacular vistas, incredible food, glorious monuments - but also the little squares and sidealleys.
And the deep longing to go back never left my heart.
Sadly both my parents have passed away now, but I had the good fortune of going to Paris also with my Mother a few times later in life.
